1. Introduction
“Junior Rap Championship (JRC)” (“Event”/“Competition”/“Championship”) is an intellectual property owned and organized by Alu Connect Private Limited (“Company”/“Organizer”).
These Terms & Conditions along with the Rules & Regulations (collectively, “Rules”) govern participation in the Event.
By registering for and/or participating in JRC, each participant and their parent/legal guardian agrees to be bound by these Rules.
The Company reserves the absolute right to amend, modify, or cancel these Rules without prior notice, and such changes shall be binding.
2. Definitions
Event/JRC – Junior Rap Champions, a performance-based competition for children.
Company/Organizer – Alu Connect Private Limited, including its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and assigns.
Participant – A minor individual between 4 and 14 years of age who registers for the Event.
Parent/Legal Guardian/Authorised Person – Biological parent, adoptive parent, or court-appointed guardian responsible for the Participant, or an Authorised person by the parent/Orphanage/Child care Institution/Shelter home.
Contestant – A shortlisted Participant who is selected to perform in subsequent rounds.
Judges – Experts appointed by the Company to evaluate Participants.
Rounds – Stages / Levels of the Event including online submission, selection rounds, semi-finals, and finals, as determined by the Organizer.
Publicity Rights – Rights of the Organizer to use name, image, likeness, video, audio, and performance content of the Participant.
Territory – India.
3. Eligibility
Participants must:
Be 4–14 years of age on the date of registration.
Be a citizen and resident of India.
Be medically fit and of sound mind.
Not have any existing contractual obligation that prevents participation in talent shows.
In the case of Minors, all Rules shall apply equally to their Parent/Legal Guardian/Authorised Person, who shall assume full responsibility.

Performances must be original and suitable for children.
Use of content that is plagiarized, offensive, obscene, violent, discriminatory, political, or religiously sensitive is strictly prohibited.
Participants must not use abusive language, gestures, or actions.
Participants and Parents/Guardians shall maintain discipline and follow instructions of the Organizer at all times.
Any misconduct, malpractice, or breach of these Rules will result in disqualification and immediate expulsion from the venue premises.
7. Rights & Intellectual Property
All performances, recordings, submissions, and materials created or shared by Participants during the Event shall be deemed to be “work-for-hire” and the exclusive property of Alu Connect Pvt. Ltd. By participating, Parents/Guardians grant the Organizer a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the Participant’s name, voice, image, and performance in all media (TV, print, digital, social media, promotions) without further consent or compensation.
8. Parent/Guardian/Authorised Person’s Responsibilities
Parents/Guardians/Authorised Person shall ensure:
Their child’s education and schooling are not affected by participation.
The child’s travel, accommodation, and safety during auditions/events are fully arranged and borne by them.
The child is fit to participate and does not suffer from any medical/ psychological condition preventing participation.
9. Privacy & Data
Personal information provided by Participants will be collected and stored securely by the Organizer.
Such information may be shared with event partners, sponsors, and service providers solely for Event-related purposes.
By registering, Parents/Guardians consent to the collection, processing, and limited disclosure of data.
10. Disqualification Grounds
A Participant may be disqualified if:
False or misleading information/documents are submitted.
The child or Parent/Guardian/Authorised Person engages in misconduct, malpractice, or attempts to influence outcomes.
Performance violates copyright, obscenity, or other applicable laws.
The child fails to comply with health/safety checks, or becomes medically unfit.
More than one video is submitted with a single ‘JRC Code’
11. Indemnity & Liability
Participation is voluntary. Parents/Guardians/Authorised Person agree to bear all risks and consequences.
Alu Connect Pvt. Ltd. and its partners shall not be liable for any injury, accident, loss, mental/emotional distress, or damage suffered during participation.
Parents/Guardians/Authorised Person indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, partners, and sponsors against all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation.
12. General Provisions
The Organizer reserves the right to:
Cancel, reschedule, or modify the Event without notice.
Reject or disqualify any Participant at its discretion.
Introduce wild card entries or additional rounds.
No bribes, gifts, or inducements shall be offered to staff, judges, or organizers.
All decisions of the Organizer are final and binding.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
